Joint Volunteer Service Awards
For over 35 years, the City of Los Altos and the Town of Los Altos Hills have held a luncheon to recognize a few select individuals who have provided extraordinary volunteer services in our community. The awardees are selected by a 12 member committee, who are appointed by the two City Councils.
Join us in celebrating extraordinary volunteers in our community at a luncheon on December 3, 2021. Gabriel Engeland, City Manager for the city of Los Altos, will be our keynote speaker.
Please note, the 2021 application process will be open in August 2021.
The cost to attend the luncheon is $45 per person.
The JVAC Committee is thankful to all who have been on the front-line during this pandemic.
Nominations are solicited from over a hundred local organizations.
From those nominated, 6-10 are selected by the Committee annually.
The criteria for nominating a volunteer is included in the Volunteer Nomination Packet below.
